Blog 1: Summer Mentorship Component

  • Literal: Finding a place to find an internship for voice acting was kind of hard. There weren't any openings for voice acting around. After finding the internship for Bang Zoom's management for Richard Epcar, I decided to kind of shift gears. I was really hesitant, but after thinking about it, i twas something that I wanted to get into as a second choice because I like setting up and planning dates for people. So I decided to try and get into that company.
    • Interpretive:  I think that the mentorship is reguired because you can kind of 'tiptoe' into the water that you, eventually, want to swim in. It also gives you a chance to see if you really want to try for that career path or if it's not all you thought you would be.
  • Applied:  I plan on applying to Bang Zoom Entertainment for their management position. I am currently finishing my resume so I can start as soon as possible.
